Let’s make the perfect Brown Sugar Oat Milk Latte

Firstly you need to make your own sugar syrup. I love making my own because it lasts for a long time and honestly it’s so easy to make. Once you’ve made it, you keep it stored in a glass jar, with a lid at room temperature. This can last up to 5 days. This means you can keep making your latte days after you’ve prepared the syrup!

I did not froth/steam my oat milk before using it, but you can. This recipe is for an iced coffee so you don’t have to steam the milk beforehand. If you would like to, by all means you can. Just make sure you are using a heat proof glass/mug so that the difference in temperature doesn’t crack the glass. You can also use regular milk or another plant based milk if that’s all you have on hand.

I used 2 shots of espresso for this recipe. But you can use less or more. You can also use instant coffee if that’s your vibe.
