I really love green juices/smoothies at the moment… I find that it’s a great way to kick start your day with all the vitamins and nutrients your body needs. If you’re like me and are not a fan of taking hundreds of vitamins, then this recipe is ideal to nourish your body with everything it needs! It’s no secret, that Kale, is a superfood, hence that was my base for the green smoothie.
2 cups of kale
1 cup of orange (not juiced)
1 cup of pineapple
2 bananas (frozen, to create a smoothie/thick texture)
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of spirulina/matcha power/protein powder
2 cups of water
No surprise here, blend everything together! If you want it to be less smoothie, more juice, add more water for a more liquid consistency.
