Chocolate Milkshake

“Chocolate, ice cream and peanut butter, yeah.. Sounds about right!” – was my exact thought behind the inspiration of this heavenly concoction. 

When it comes to “being inspired” to create something irresistible in the kitchen, there are no limits, well not for me at least. 

Given that I’m yet to go on and on about the Banting bandwagon, my preference in terms of ingredients/ products are full cream, of course (which ideally supplements the otherwise lack of calcium in my diet) 

The best  part about this heavenly concoction is that it’s quite light, and doesn’t leave one with an unsettled feeling, post-indulgence. If anything, this milkshake “hits the spot” without an ounce of guilt (take my word for it!) and it’s got the homemade touch that comforts you instantly!

 

 

RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • 1 slab of lindt (80%) dark chocolate)

  • 3/4 cup of milk

  • 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream

  • 2 teaspoons of “banting” peanut butter (or normal)

  • 2 teaspoons of cocoa

Method:

  • Heat the chocolate in the microwave so it’s all melted.

  • Add the milk, chocolate (melted),  cocoa, and peanut butter together in the blender/nutri-bullet.

  • And lastly add the ice cream, and voilá you’re done! Enjoy!
