After a work out, the last thing you’re inclined to eat is something fatty and greasy, because it seems like you’re just throwing all that hard work down the drain. When I come home after a work out (and the ingredients are available) I like to make a health juice or smoothie. It’s filling enough for the meantime (before supper usually) and your body gets all the healthy vitamins needed to help your muscles recuperate. I love making my own juices, buying them seems like I’m cheating almost (being a chef and all). So, I made this green juice with a few added vitamins, for that extra boost! Please try it, the taste really isn’t bad at all, I find it rather tasty.
Recipe: Green juice
1 bunch of kale
2 oranges freshly squeezed
2 chlorella/spirulina tablets (if you have)
1 cup of cucumber chopped
Put all the delicious greens into a blender and bon appetit!
