Paw Paw smoothie

December 10, 2016

Morning Everyone! Being healthy on weekend’s is not the easiest task at hand, so I like to start my morning’s off with a smoothie, to encourage me to eat better throughout the day (full disclosure: sometimes this does not work). I don’t really use paw paw in many smoothies or nicecream’s because they have quite a distinctive taste (that not many enjoy) and they retain a lot of water, hence, the consistency being quite runny. But for this particular smoothie it seemed to add the perfect consistency. I like to add ingredients that contain many different benefits for the body and I’ve read that paw paw’s help with the reduction of pores (I guess that’s a health benefit, or maybe just cosmetic), but they also have a lot of Vitamin C, and that is definitely a health benefit. The taste is sweet and has a bit of a citrus twist, and I think it may become my regular as paw paw’s are in season (jumping for joy)!
