Almond and raw cocoa smoothie

Hey Guys! I hope you all spoiled your mother's yesterday and really enjoyed Mother's Day! My family is not big on dinner and lunches, so when something like Mother's day pops up, you can bet that we all go a little bit crazy with the food. Usually we all have small appetites and rather eat regularly than having one or two big meals, but yesterday was the exception! So today I decided to make this smoothie to give my body the nutrients it needs and to kick start my week on a healthy note. Here's the most simple smoothie recipe you will ever find, I hope you like it!

 

Recipe: Almond and raw cocoa smoothie 

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen bananas- cut up 

  • 1 1/2 cups of almond milk

  • 3 tablespoons of Organic Almond nut butter

  • 1 teaspoon of protein poweder

  • 3 teaspoons of raw cocoa powder

 

Method: 

  • Blend all the ingredients together. If you want it to be more runny, then add a few ice cubes. The almond butter acts as a natural sweetener, so try to avoid adding honey or sugar if you can.
