Mini savoury croissants

Hey everyone!

I haven't had a chance to put this up, but here it is finally! I tried my hardest to make this healthy but some things in life are good just the way they are. Hope you enjoy them!

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of gluten free flour/Almond flour/normal flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 4 tablespoons oil (olive oil/normal cooking oil)

  • 5 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon sugar/xylitol

  • 1 1/2 cups milk

 

Method:

  • Add the ingredients together and make a firm dough. 

  • Divide the dough into 4 equal parts.

  • Roll each part into a ball, and roll out until it is flat and round, and then divide into eight using a pizza cutter if you have one. 

  • You will see that every triangle looks the same as a croissant would. 

  • I used a chilli chutney to spread onto the dough (but any tomato base will work).

  • I then cut up viennas so they fit well into the mini croissants. 

  • Then roll the croissant from the longest side to the shortest-and use a toothpick to keep the croissant in it's shape. 

  • Bake in the oven at 180 degress and when it get golden brown it will be done. 

  • Add any toppings you like- freeze them and bake at about 160 degrees next time you need a quick snack.
