Matcha Pancakes

Good Morning everyone! I have just finished my two day juice cleanse, I really tried to make it to three days but I was getting a tad "hangry" and I didn't want to further annoy those around me, so instead I baked these lovely matcha pancakes! Juice cleanses/ liquid detoxes are really good to do now and again, but they do affect everyone differently, so if you feel that you can't reach your goal of three or five days, don't beat yourself up about it, rather do what you can and do it well!

I hope you try these pancakes, they are so quick to make and you actually can't taste the matcha at all, but at the same time you are getting all the best vitamins that it contains (Yay!). 

 

 

Recipe: Matcha Pancakes

 

Ingredients:

1 egg

1/2 cup milk

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 teaspoons matcha powder

1 cup flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

2 tablespoons coconut sugar 

 

Method:

It is so simple guys! Simply whisk the wet ingredients, then add the dry ingredients slowly, let the mixture stand for about 5-10 minutes. Then heat a pan with butter on a medium heat and voila! You have lovely matcha pancakes ready to be eaten!
