Happy Monday guys! Can't believe it's almost time for the holiday season! Time really goes so fast and this year I have learnt so much about myself and what I want to do for the next year, it's such a scary thought but also so exciting! In other news this cherry waffle is my new addiction and I am loving creating recipes with fresh fruits. This was such a quick recipe and it was so great because who needs long drawn out recipes on the weekends. Here's the recipe and I hope you love it as much as I do!
Recipe: Cherry waffles
1 1/2 cups plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar (if necessary)
100g of fresh and pitted cherries
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups milk (add less or more as needed)
1 tsp. cinnamon powder
30g chocolate chips if desired
Add all ingredients to a blender (except the cherries) and mix well, then add the cherries and allow the batter to sit for about 10 minutes.
Grease your waffle maker before adding the batter as it will stick and then place the batter inside once it has heated up.
Serve with ice cream and fresh cherries!
